I was invited to write about an exceptional event for 240 lucky VIPs in Paris. The weather in the year 2000 was remarkable, with temperatures soaring to record-breaking highs, and violent storms throughout. In fact, many people died from heatstroke.
In spite of the meteorological instability, the grapes thrived and were crafted into the most exceptional and unique Champagne… the Grand Vintage 2000.
